Megan + Andrew | Mt. Rainier, Tipsoo Lake Engagement Session
I love that being a wedding and portrait photographer here in Washington state gives me the opportunity to explore the breathtaking scenery that our state has to offer! Lake Tipsoo is one of those photography locations that has been on my bucket list for SO long! When Megan and Andrew told me they were down for making the drive out to Mt. Rainier National Park I was ecstatic. I had read that Tipsoo is a Washington summer "must see"; and it did not disappoint! Truly stunning and only an hour and a half drive from the Tacoma. Worth it!
Megan and Andrew arrived and immediately I could feel the strong bond and love that they have for each other. They warmed up quickly in front of the my camera. It was so fun to witness them just enjoying each other's company while exploring the lake and going through photo poses and prompts! And if you were wondering if they dipped their toes in the cool mountain lake...the answer is YES! Very fun and made some beautiful moments for me to capture for them. The mountain lake was surrounded by Washington's classic evergreen trees, sweeping 360 degree views of mountains all around; including the infamous Mt. Rainer! The weather couldn't have been better either! I just can't say enough about how lovely this session was. I will be back for you Tipsoo!
