How lucky am I to live in Washington state where you can jump in the car and visit Mt. Rainier National Park! And even more luck that I get to take engagement photos there! Just a dream. If visiting Mt. Rainier is on your bucket list...what are you waiting for?!
Alison and Drew were such pleasure to work with. These two college sweethearts were so kind, fun, and so obviously in love with each other. They first met when they were set up on a blind date for an annual "My Tie" function at Drew's fraternity during our first quarter at the University of Washington. The guys found dates for each other ahead of time, and at the beginning of the function each guy found his date by finding the girl wearing his tie. Apparently the date actually didn't go so well but Drew was persistent in pursuing Alison and after a year of occasional doughnut outings and silly themed dates they started dating in earnest.
Despite not being able to have their session up at Paradise within the Mt. Rainier National Park because of extreme fog and the most nasty rain/slush (typical unpredictable Washington weather, am I right?!) their session turned out unquestionably beautiful at the base of the mountain at the Longmire bridge. Luckily, we were still able to include some snow in their portraits which was their one location requirement because they spend so much time together up in the mountains! I'm such a sucker for a gushy love story. I CANNOT wait to celebrate with you two and capture every sappy, special, love filled moment of your wedding this summer!
