A Magical Family Session at The Point at Horseshoe Lake
As a portrait photographer based in Spokane and serving the surrounding areas, I have the pleasure of capturing beautiful moments in stunning locations. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph an amazing family session at The Point at Horseshoe Lake, and it was an experience filled with fun, laughter, and breathtaking views.
The Plowman Family's Session
The Plowman family was an absolute joy to work with! The two older girls, dressed in adorable matching jumpsuits, were full of energy and excitement. They loved running around the field, holding hands, and playing with the wildflowers. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it made for some truly magical candid shots.
The youngest member of the family, a sweet baby boy, was calm and content in dad's arms, adding a sense of serenity to the dynamic energy of the older children. Jesse, looking proud and happy, was a calming presence throughout the session, always ready with a smile or a comforting word. His relaxed demeanor and genuine joy shone through in every photo, adding a special touch to the family’s portraits.
Kathy looked absolutely radiant in a flowing white dress, was the epitome of grace and warmth. The whole family’s connection and love for each other were palpable, making my job as a photographer not only easy but incredibly enjoyable.
The Venue: The Point at Horseshoe Lake
The Point at Horseshoe Lake is an awesome photography venue. Its expansive fields, dotted with wildflowers and surrounded by rolling hills, provide a perfect backdrop for family photos. The light at golden hour bathes the landscape in a warm glow, creating a dreamy atmosphere that enhances every shot.
During our session, we took full advantage of the scenic views. The lake in the background, the lush greenery, and the open sky added depth and beauty to the photos. The kids had a blast exploring the area, and their natural joy and curiosity were beautifully captured against the picturesque setting.
